FASHION NEWS: Kardashians Open Dash NYC

The KarDASHian sisters looked stunning in NYC at the opening of their newest Dash boutique. Dash Boutique, also located in California and Florida, sells mid priced designer clothing and accessories for women. The Kardashians initially opened the store to feel closer to one another after the death of their father.

I can’t wait to see all of the drama behind the store opening unfold on the rumored newest Kardashian reality show, Kim and Kourtney take NYC!

I must say that I really like their style, its never over the top fashion forward but they seem to really know what works for them. And I would love access to Khloe’s Louboutin stockpile

Product Review: Sephora by OPI Minx Nails

Sephora by OPI gives the minx nail look for less

You have seen Minx nails on your favorite celebrities such as Rihanna and Beyonce for years and now OPI and Sephora have teamed up with Minx to bring the high end nail décor to you for a fraction of the average $50 cost. At only 15 bucks a pack I figured it was at least worth a try. I decided on the leopard print nail appliqués since leopard is one of the biggest trends for the fall.

The instructions were simple enough, five easy steps:

Clean bare nails with rubbing alcohol
Warm minx strip by rubbing
Peel off and apply to nail
Smooth and file off excess nail appliqué
Rub to remove bubbles

Things were going smoothly until I came to step 5, I found it impossible to remove all of the bubbles from the nail appliqués. I even tried the Sephora sales clerk’s advice and used a blow dryer but to no avail. Because of the final outcome of the product I will have to give it 2 out of 5 hearts. Had the product applied smoothly it would have been given 5 out of 5 hearts without a doubt.

Cost: $15 for 16 minx nail appliqués
