Designer Spotlight: All Hail McQueen
Alexander McQueen….suicide….London flat…… I can remember sitting in my apartment being crippled with sadness as I watched the television doubting what I had just heard. All true fashionistas remember where they were and what they were doing when they got the news that famed fashion designer Alexander McQueen was no longer with us. The fashion industry paused in disbelief that we had lost such an incredibly talented visionary. Although he is no longer here physically, his passion lives on in his collections. The 2011 Spring/Summer collection encompasses the signature McQueen elements that we have all grown to love - textures, shapes and refined oddity.
