SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!!!  I cant begin to tell you how happy I am to feel the warmth of the sun especially after the snow storm this winter (yes Atlanta had a snowstorm).  This season is associated with spring cleaning – yes ladies it is time to shake out the rugs and clean your palace from top to bottom.  While your sleeves are rolled up and you are unpacking your fabulous spring attire don’t forget that spring cleaning isn’t limited to your home.  Spring is also the perfect time to press the reset button on life.  Take this time to dust your winter woes and cold weather calamities away and trade them in for your future spring successes.  I know that our past is permanent and we can’t turn back the hands of time or wish circumstances away with a mental reset button; however, our outlook on life can be reset.  2 Corinthians 5:17 boldly tells us “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.”

Cheers to a new season and a new you!

Being a stylist and avid shopper, I find myself constantly picking up things for my personal wardrobe here and there so as you can imagine I have a well stocked closet.  But for some reason whenever I am invited to an event I find the need to buy something new.  The phenomenon happens in this order; I receive an invitation to a fabulous event, get super excited and run out and spend hours shopping for something new to wear.  I will leave my favorite store with the PERFECT dress and shoes but on the day of the event I end up wearing something that I already own – either something that I bought previously and never got around to wearing or something that has been in my closet for a while.  That “perfect” dress and shoes that I purchased specifically for the event goes right back to the store unworn and unwanted.  I waste valuable time and energy looking for something that I already had.
